Alessandro Florenzi Heir to the Throne of Roma | Player Short Documentary | 2019

Growing up A Roman player is not easy.

Whats up soccer fans and welcome back to another footie player spotlight

Today we are looking at the heir to the Roman throne Alessandro Florenzi.  Alessandro is a Roman Born who surged his was to the top of Italian Football from the Youth Academy at AS Roma.

The versatile defender has played many positions throughout his career including Right Wing, Central Midfield and now his most suitable in the right wing back position.  Here he is most capable of showing off his ability to both defend and attack when needed.

Alessandro originally considered an exciting youth prospect is now regarded as the saviour of Rome.  He has been dubbed il capitano futuro and will permanently take over the honors of wearing the captain’s armband when Danielle de rossi retires.  Which I don’t think will happen any time soon.

While in my eyes a fantastic player who hustles beyond belief always aiming to hunt down any winger who tries to beat him, Ale has found himself in a bit of hot water as of late.  He has been met with heavy criticism from the fans who with such a high salary at 3 million euro per year has not been meeting expectations.  Although I don’t really think this is entirely Florenzi’s fault.

But enough of that…
